Praise, Worship, Prayer & Study
Prayer is the key to all we do at Second Baptist Church. We offer a number of different services to ensure you can always worship with the community. Our schedule includes praise, worship prayer, bible study, and more. Learn more and plan your visit.
Sunday Service
Each Sunday God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit is worshiped, exalted, praised and gloried by praise in lifting up holy hands, utterances of joy and through song. Visitors are welcome and the love of Christ is shown to each that walks through the door.
Bible Study
II Timothy 2:15 states "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. This mandate and commission is taken seriously at Second Baptist. Come and join us so that we may grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Youth Service
The youth are actively involved and full participants in our worship services. They are well trained in all aspects of a service. The second Sunday of each month the youth are in full charge of conducting the service.
Join Us For Sunday School
Sunday School is open for all. It's not just for members. It begins at 9:45 a.m. You do not need to be a certain age. You will not be asked to do anything such as pray in public or answer questions that you may not know.
From the Superintendent
It is through the Sunday church school that we learn about Jesus and the more we learn about Him the more we draw near to Him and he to us.
From the Pastor
We extend in love and that together we will come to the temple to learn who Jesus is, where He came from, why He freely gave His life for our sins and how to live for His Glory!
