Sunday Service
Sundays Starting at 9:45 am
We are a welcoming and family friendly congregation who loves to worship and praise Jesus Christ. Each Sunday we sing a variety of songs from traditional, hymns, contemporary and spirituals. We allow the Holy Spirit to move freely throughout the congregation. We invite you to come and celebrate Christ with us.
Bible Study
Tuesdays Starting at 1:00 pm
Wednesdays Starting at 7:10 pm
Bible Study is an important component to a Christian's walk and at Second Baptist Church Independence MO. Bible Study is held each Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. A light meal is prepared for those attending. There are a variety of topics from the bible that are studied. Visitors are welcome.
Youth Wednesday
Wednesdays Starting at 6:00 pm
Youth Ministry is for ages 4 to 18. The activities are comprised of music, bible study, handbells, drama, praise dancing and a variety of other activities. Every second Sunday our youth are actively involved and engaged in conducting and participating in the worship service.
